Initial Consultation

Our first appointment will be a consultation visit lasting approximately 90 minutes.  We will discuss current problems, concerns, strengths, and abilities.  We will also gather historical information about development, health, family, and education. In order to spend most of our time discussing your needs, we will ask you to complete forms prior to your appointment and to provide us with copies of all previous evaluations, reports, and educational documents. Children do not typically attend this first meeting.

At the end of this meeting you will receive our preliminary impressions and we will discuss our service options with you.  We may also make recommendations for diagnostic evaluation and targeted neuropsychological testing to gain an in-depth understanding of individual difficulties, strengths and functioning.
