Biofeedback

Biofeedback can be an important tool to support relaxation training and promote self-regulation.  We use an easy-to-use software program with a heart rhythm monitor.  This allows individuals to see how their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral responses affect their heart and nervous system.  By viewing visual changes on a computer screen and associating them with specific strategies, recipients learn to improve their state of physiologic regulation and emotional balance.
